This interactive eLearning experience provides learners with the most basic concepts relating to cybersecurity, it also brings awareness to learners about potential risks that stem from data breaches
Process
I worked with the provided content from SMEs and I came up with the SMART objective, I wanted the course to be achievable, relevant, and can be done in a timely manner. And then I decided that the course should be in microlearning form as it is the most suitable for delivering the essential knowledge of a specific topic: cybersecurity.
Afterward, I created a storyboard on Google Docs and this is a mostly text-based storyboard.
Finally, I fully developed the project in Articulate Storyline 360.
Reflection
Finishing this project provided me with several key takeaways:
User Experience (UX): This project’s page layout and transition animations were designed to be accessible across devices with different screen sizes and input types. I believe in designing a clear, familiar user experience.
Learning Design Principles: In this course, I have applied Bloom’s Taxonomy by delivering the lesson from simple to complex as I always start with basic concepts. I also used Jakob’s law in my designing process to make sure my course has a consistent, familiar design pattern for the users. I developed the course content into smaller modules (applying Hick’s law) with scenarios, graphics, and knowledge check that allows the learners to remember the information easier
