Voyage Through Time is designed for students in Grade 7 in Vietnam. The course lasts for 45 minutes along with a forum discussion for learners. The course focuses on providing students with knowledge about the Ly dynasty in Vietnam.

Only 12.6% of students chose History as their favorite subject (Hoang, 2015), 70% of teachers chose the method of lecturing using textbooks and 78% of students find it difficult to learn History by the traditional methods. Voyage Through Time aims to solve these abovementioned problems by incorporating interactive elements with the formative assessment that turn learners into active participants in the course.
