Problem & Solution
Lazmada needs to maintain a high level of knowledge and skills among their employees, including field-based professionals such as project managers and product consultants who travel extensively. In addition, given the highly regulated nature of the industry, it is crucial that all employees hear the same consistent messages related to the products sold by Lazmada. This is why eLearning is such an important piece of the overall training strategy adopted by the company.
This course focuses on building knowledge for employees so that they can all adopt the standardized procedure and apply it to project management work, hence increasing their work proficiency. I developed the course content into smaller modules (applying Hick’s law) with scenarios, graphics, and videos that provide employees with standardized knowledge but are still very engaging.
Process
I first worked with the HR department to clarify the business problem of the company to come up with clear, direct objectives for the course using SMART model. Then I consulted the SMEs to divide the content into smaller modules and decide what types of training modules should be incorporated into the course.
Afterward, I created a storyboard on Google Docs for each module. Finally, I fully developed the project in Rise 360 as this is suited to the LMS of the company.
